THE INTEGRATION WEEKEND
What is better than starting the year with the cult integration weekend ! Organized by the Student Union, it will remain engraved in the newcomer’s memory for a long time, there is no doubt about it! There is no reason to miss it: it will be an opportunity for the future engineer to forge relationships with the class’ and all the students of the school! The venue is kept secret until the last moment, and countless activities and evenings are planned!

SKI WEEKEND
Every year, the Sports Union organizes a trip to the mountains! This gives every student the opportunity to reveal talents as skiers, snowboarders, hikers… or imitators of groundhogs! Tartiflette guaranteed!
THE ENSEM GALA
Organized by the arts union, the gala, which takes place every year, is the most prestigious gathering of the year! It brings together students and engineers together in a prestigious setting with champagne, buffet, shows and all kinds of entertainment. The perfect time to dress up!

THE ECO MARATHON SHELL
Are you passionate about new technologies, cars or just curious? The E2M association brings together students, laboratories and partners around the energy performance of tomorrow’s vehicles. Each year, the association participates in the Shell Eco-Marathon competition, an annual international competition bringing together more than 3000 students. It allows you to design, create and test fuel-efficient vehicles on a circuit specially designed for the event. For the past 9 years, the E2M has specialized in the Urban Concept H2 category, electric motor vehicles powered by a hydrogen fuel cell.

JUNIOR ENTREPRISE
ENSEM CONSEIL
ENSEM Conseil is a non-profit but economic association founded in 1977 and located at ENSEM Nancy. Its objective is to enable the students of the institution to make the most of their courses in Electricity, Mechanics and Information Sciences.
Entirely managed by students, they acquire additional skills in Communication, Finance, Business Strategy, while putting to use the technical skills they’ve learnt. Each year, the association’s directors are elected after a rigorous recruitment phase that includes interviews and selective activities. Candidates go through this phase in order to renew the EC Team so that it remains dynamic and the Junior company’s performance can progress year after year.

LIFE IN NANCY
FINDING ACCOMMODATION
A student residence within walking distance from the school is reserved for ENSEM 1st year engineering students. The ADINPL residence (” La rez’ as students call it) offers 25 to 37 m2 studios with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, only 5 min from the school on foot and 20 min from the city center by tram!
ENSAIA and ENSG students (students on the engineering campus) share the same residence, one more reason to enjoy this student environment!
Les Clairières, a student residence, is located a little further than “La rez'”, 10 minutes’ walk from the school. It is almost identical to “La rez'” but much less “animated”. The Velodrome district is located near a university campus, a university restaurant and many CROUS residences. It is 10 minutes by tram from the school and accommodates a lot of students.
Nancy has other residences managed by the CROUS and private rental is available.
Visale (formerly Lokaviz Student Rental Deposit)
Visale is the new Housing Action scheme (formerly Clé – Caution Locative Etudiante du Crous) for young people under 30 years of age who are students or employees on precarious contracts. This guarantee is a free for a period of 36 months and replaces a family or other guarantor when the lease agreement is drawn up. You need to create an account before the inventory of fixtures is signed. All démarches are dematerialized to facilitate the processing time of each request. UNIVERSITY RESTAURANTS
University Cafeterias
Nancy and its surroundings have 8 university restaurants, with traditional restaurants, brasseries and specialized restaurants (pizzeria, Chinese food, creperie…). The nearest university restaurant is in Brabois. It is located on the Faculty of Medicine campus, about a 5-minute walk from ENSEM. A CROUS food truck is also parked near ENSEM every day and offers sandwiches, hamburgers, pizzas, salads, or daily specials.

In the restaurant, the price for a complete meal is 3.25 euros. The meal consists of a starter, main course, cheese, dessert and bread roll. For the brasserie and cafeteria, prices vary according to the items offered but remain very attractive.
The students' circle
The members of the “Le Cercle” association offer sandwiches, salads, croque-monsieurs (toasted sandwiches), pizzas, etc. at low prices every lunchtime.

By car: A4 Paris-Strasbourg and A31 Luxembourg-Lyon
By train: Nancy City TGV station, direct trains from Paris (1h30) / Lorraine TGV station (40 km from Nancy, shuttles available): direct trains from Lille Europe (2h), Rennes (4h), Bordeaux (5h), Frankfurt (2h40).
By tram: line 1 from the city center towards Vandoeuvre CHU, stop Faisanderies or Forêt de Haye
